The Louis Vuitton time capsule exhibit makes its mark in the Six as it celebrates its 35th anniversary in the city, presenting a timeline of the most important pieces and moments in the history of the French fashion house.
Hello loves, today I am sharing with you some photos from my trip to the Louis Vuitton time capsule exhibit! The exhibit has taken place in several major cities around the world and has now made its mark in the six! I originally found out about the Louis Vuitton Volez, Voguez, Voyagez exhibit about a year ago when I was watching one of my favourite fashion and beauty YouTubers Paige Secosky visiting the exhibit in New York. I remember thinking to myself, “please come to Toronto” and although this particular exhibit didn’t make it to Toronto, another wonderful exhibit by the renowned French fashion house came about! Now, I have to give credit to my college program coordinator as he was the one who mentioned that the exhibit was coming in town and I was thrilled! The exhibit is taking place right outside of Union Station at the Sir John A. Macdonald Plaza and opened on Friday, September 7th and will end on Sunday, September 30thso if you live in the area or are visiting the city within the next couple of weeks I highly recommend you visit the exhibit. Not to mention it is free! Yes, you read that right, FREE. Admission into the exhibit is free for everyone so definitely stop by and learn about the beautiful creations of Louis Vuitton. Naturally, being the fashion fanatic that I am, I visited the exhibit on the opening day right after school (of course I’m only now getting around to sharing this blog post – sorry, I got really backed up by all my school work #collegestudentproblems but on the bright side, you still have two weeks to visit the exhibit so don’t you worry about the timing!). It took me a good hour to get there because of rush hour but it was worth it! The line was also very short so I was able to walk right into the exhibit without having to wait! I spoke with some of the workers at the exhibit and I must say, they are all such incredibly kind, fun people and very educated on the brand. Before I share photos from my visit, I would like to give a personal shout out to one of the employees who I met and spoke with, Cassandra. If you’re reading this Cassie, it was a pleasure meeting and networking with you, and thank you for taking photos for my blog and Instagram!
