Virgil Abloh “Figures of Speech” Exhibit: Chicago, Illinois

Virgil Abloh, the designer behind the world famous luxury fashion brand “OFF-White”, presents an exhibit of projects and collaborations at the Museum of Contemporary art in the windy city.

Hello loves! Today, I’m sharing some photos from my recent visit to the Virgil Abloh “Figures of Speech” exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, Illinois. When I first found out about the exhibit back in June, I knew I had to attend knowing I was going to be visiting Chicago sometime within the next few months. I was lucky enough to be able to go to the exhibit while I was in the windy city two weeks ago and I decided to make this blog post because I know not everyone lives in Chicago. So, if you wanted to attend the exhibit yourself but couldn’t, today’s blog post is kind of your own admission ticket into the exhibit. The exhibit opened on June 10th and was supposed to end on September 22nd. However, it was extended to September 29th. The exhibit explores some of Virgil’s art and projects using different medias, as well as different collaborations he has done.

If you don’t already know who Virgil Abloh is, you must be living under a rock (I’m kidding). But really though, Virgil is the “it” designer right now and he has had a lot of success in the fashion industry over the past few years. Virgil became known for being Kanye West’s creative director. He is the designer behind the luxury streetwear brand OFF-White and the creative director behind Louis Vuitton men. Among other things, he is also a DJ and stylist. Now that you know a little bit about the exhibit and Virgil Abloh himself, scroll down to see some photos from the exhibit!

That’s it for today’s blog post! Thank you for taking the time to read and check out my blog!

Until next time,
