The perfect dupe for the most coveted handbag on Instagram and IRL.

I am so excited to finally be back running my blog so be sure to follow along to stay up to date with new blog content weekly! To kick off my blog re-launch, I have decided to share a “FAB FIND”. I haven’t posted one of these posts in a hot minute so I figured I’d share it as my first post because it’s a dupe for a trendy handbag that I’m sure many of you would want to get your hands on if you haven’t purchased the designer version. In case you’re not aware, “FAB FINDS” is a series on my blog where I share merchandise that looks as though an expensive brand or retailer would carry the product or a dupe or look-alike of a high-end product. The Prada multi-pochette re-edition 2005 is coveted amongst celebs and Instagram bloggers alike. This particular handbag has been all over my Instagram feed and I couldn’t help but have fomo over the past couple of months of seeing people rock this bag. The first multi-pochette that I would say broke the internet was the Louis Vuitton multi-pochette accessories and after hundreds of bloggers promoted the handbag set, the Prada multi-pochette started to take over social media. I personally love designer and luxury fashion so between the two – Louis Vuitton and Prada – I would definitely invest in the Louis Vuitton. I think it’s a better deal as you are paying for high-quality leather as opposed to nylon which is what the Prada bag is made of. Additionally, although the Prada is a re-edition from 2005, I don’t think of it as a classic which is why I would never invest in it. I wouldn’t say the Louis Vuitton one’s a classic either, but between the two in terms of quality and just my personal preference, I would definitely purchase the Louis Vuitton in the future.
Since I’m unable to purchase the Louis Vuitton multi-pochette accessories at this moment, and finding a similar bag that looks like it and is not an obvious replica is almost impossible, I figured I’d purchase the Prada multi-pochette look alike because it’s not an obvious replica, it can be worn every day, and it’s an easy way to try out the multi-pochette bag trend without dropping $1,500 or more. My sister actually came across this bag on Shein and sent it to me and that is how I discovered it. I like how the bag is not an obvious replica beside the triangles on the pouches (which I wish weren’t there, but it’s fine). When I find look-alike products of designer items that I know I will not invest in, I always make sure that the items are not complete replicas or do not have some type of logos on them. This Prada dupe along with the other three FAB FINDS that I shared on my blog in the past, are such that someone like myself who is interested in fashion would know that it either is real or a dupe of the high-end designer item. However, if someone who is not interested in fashion were to see this handbag or the other FAB FIND items, they would have no clue they were dupes.

Place of Purchase:
Currently, the Prada multi-pochette is not online on the Prada website. However, it is available on Stockx. You might have more luck purchasing it at the Prada store or at a designer department store that sells Prada.
The dupe is from Shein, as I mentioned above.
Price Tag:
Since the bag is not available on the Prada website, it’s quite hard to pinpoint an exact price. From what I know after watching YouTube videos about this bag, I would say the Prada retails for approximately $1,500 CAD or more.
The Shein dupe, on the other hand, costs $23 CAD. I had a coupon code and there was free shipping so I paid a total of $20.33 CAD.
Similarities and Differences:
The overall appearance of the Prada and Shein multi-pochette bags are similar and both bags are made of nylon.
I believe the Prada multi-pochette nylon might be of higher quality considering the price point. The strap and chain detail are also of higher quality. The Prada features a small pouch on the strap which has the Prada logo. The main pouch and strap also feature the Prada logo. The original also has a tag that hangs from the main pouch which says “Prada Re-Edition 2005” with a metal detail.
The main difference between the Prada multi-pochette and the Shein dupe is that there are no logos. The Shein dupe features a small metal triangle similar to the Prada bag on both the main pouch and the small pouch hanging from the strap. However, there are no logos on the triangles. The strap also does not have any logo on it, it is just plain black. Another difference is that the small pouch hanging from the strap is longer than the Prada one. The tag that hangs off the main pouch does not have any writing on it either.
As for the inside of the bag, I am not sure if there is a zipper pouch in the Prada, however, the Prada logo is sewn on the inside of the bag. The Shein dupe does have a small zipper pouch inside. The zipper for the Shein dupe is not the best as it does get stuck in the fabric sometimes so when opening and closing the zipper you must pull it in an upwards motion. This isn’t that big of a deal considering the bag is so affordable.
Overall, I think this Prada multi-pochette dupe from Shein is worth purchasing if you want to try out the handbag trend without spending a fortune, or just want to purchase a look-alike to test it out with your wardrobe and lifestyle if you are planning on investing in the original Prada or Louis Vuitton multi-pochettes. For the price point and quality of the Shein dupe, you really can’t go wrong.
